King Richard's Faire Reviews

I’ll be honest, I’m usually loyal to another store, so I wasn’t expecting much when I came in. But the staff here helped us right away and were genuinely really nice. It definitely made me rethink where I’ll go next time.

I had a really fun day at King Richard’s Faire overall. The atmosphere was lively, the costumes were great, and it was one of those outings that reminds you how nice it is to step out of regular life for a bit and just enjoy something different.

The only downside was the bathroom situation. They were okay earlier in the day, but by later on they were dirty and smelled bad. I know it gets crowded and that’s probably not easy to manage, but more frequent check-ins would make a big difference. It didn’t ruin the day, but it did take away from the comfort of the experience.

I got the tickets without any hassle, which was good because I really don’t have the patience for a complicated checkout. The price wasn’t bad at all for a full day out.

I had a few fun moments at the fair, but overall the atmosphere just felt kind of worn out. A lot of the decorations looked old, and it never really pulled me into the theme. It seems like an avoidable issue with a little more upkeep and attention to detail.

I’ll admit, I saw the shirts and little souvenirs and immediately thought they’d be better quality than the usual faire merch. Some of it was cute, and one thing I got felt solid, so I assumed the rest would be the same. But another item had loose stitching after just a couple wears, which was disappointing. The prices felt a little high for what you actually get. Not awful or anything, I just expected more

We had a really nice time at the faire overall, but wow, getting in and out was kind of a headache. Traffic was backed up for quite a while, and the parking setup felt chaotic, like nobody was totally sure where cars were supposed to go. Not the end of the world, obviously, but it definitely added some stress before and after the fun part. Still glad we went, just wish the parking had been a little smoother.

I remember having a genuinely fun day out here, and looking back, the prices seemed fair for what we got. It wasn’t anything fancy, but for the money, I felt like it was a solid experience

We had a really good time watching the jousting and the funny little acts around the grounds. Some parts maybe felt a tiny bit slow at first, but it picked up quickly and kept us entertained pretty much the whole afternoon

Had a great day here with the kids, they loved it. We stayed longer then planned because they didnt wanna leave. Nice little outing for the family.

I did have a few fun moments, and I really wanted to enjoy it because we’d been looking forward to going all week, but wow, it was just way too crowded this year. We got there a little after lunch, which maybe didn’t help, but there were lines for pretty much everything, the walking paths were completely jammed, and it felt like nobody really knew where people were supposed to go. A couple staff members were nice, but most seemed just as confused as everyone else. After a while it felt more stressful than fun, which was a bummer.

I popped in just to look around and immediately got pulled in by all the different vendors. There was a fun mix to check out, and even though a few prices made me pause like, “whoa, okay,” I still ended up finding some cool things. I just wish there were a few more food options because I definitely would’ve grabbed something while walking around.

I went to King Richard’s Faire, and thinking back on it, the food was a lot better than I expected it to be. I still remember that turkey leg being huge, really hot, and actually full of flavor instead of just feeling like a novelty. The chowder bowl stood out too because it was way more filling than I thought it would be.
The drinks were easy to grab even with the crowds, and I remember the cider being my favorite. Everything tasted fresh, and for an event like that, the prices felt fair enough. I’d definitely eat there again next time I go.

The performer came across as rude, which threw off the whole vibe. It felt awkward being there, and instead of enjoying the moment, I just ended up feeling uncomfortable. Definitely not the experience I was expecting.

I thought we were going to spend half the day stuck in lines, probably because places like this usually make you wait around so you end up buying more snacks or drinks. But it really wasn’t bad at all. The ticket line moved quickly, and even the food lines were manageable. We actually got to see everything we wanted without feeling like we were just standing around all day.

The kids had such a great time with the axe throwing. They were laughing, competing with each other, and didn’t want to leave, which pretty much says it all

I had a really frustrating time trying to get around in my wheelchair. It felt like accessibility wasn’t really thought through, and when I asked staff about accommodations, they seemed unsure and didn’t have clear answers. It made the whole visit more stressful than it should’ve been. For the inconvenience and lack of proper support, I do think some kind of compensation would be fair
